Day 3 and Opportunities

It seems so hard to turn  problems into opportunities.  But the funny thing is when I just  replace the word problems with the word opportunity... my mind  does open up and  my thinking seems  more hopeful.  I do like that thinking. I think this course will be very helpful  if I try to keep it in the forefront of mind each day.  I think it will help my children too  by just me doing it.

It's really huge how much a mother influences their children without really knowing it.  Yesterday  morning I woke my 9 year old daughter up really nicely...instead of the hurried rush  of  "Get up   or you'll be late"  drone that she hears from me almost every school day.   I said to her..  "Hey it's time to wake up."  (with a kind touch to her face.)  I then said..  "It's a great day today and you are going to have a great day, too! "  What a difference!  She was all smiles  and hopped out of bed..and even commented later how she liked me waking her up and me telling her  that it was going to be a great day.  Monday  I'm going to wake her up and tell her it's a great day  and that she is going to have a great day too because the  day is her's.
