I should do the same thing. Good for you.
I need to do that too. Review that checklist and get a routine. I've been doing better but, like you, it still needs a little work.
I hear you
and Good luck on your interview. I'll say a prayer for you. It's OK with me......
I think it is perfectly OK for you to take a week if you feel like you need it. (If you wanted my permission, you have it)
None of us is here to judge another. It sounds like you are being much harder on yourself than any of us ever would be.
This does not mean that you should stay away from the community and support here at TOOLS. (If I had 4 children, I would probably need a week on each day).
I know it feels unnatural at first to say your affirmations out loud, but it is so important that you do. Remember your brain has to hear you say them. Maybe you could read them aloud to one of your kids. Or even pretend that you are reading them to someone else. Be an actress if you have to. The main thing is that your brain has to hear these affirmations in order for your brain to believe them. It can't hear your thoughts. (which is a good thing sometime)
Don't give up on yourself, we all have something we're working on, that's why we're all here. It is normal to have doubts and to slip up so don't be so hard on yourself. Treat yourself like you would treat your very best friend in the whole wide world.
You are a necessary part of this community, we need your input, your help and your encouragement just as much as you need ours. We need you, I need you, and we're all pulling for you, every one of us, whether we can say it to you or not.
