I saw the ad for tools for life on sparkpeople web site which I am a member and checked it out. I've always thought that I could use a hands on retraining of my thinking. I've been to the doctor for depression before in the past...but was only told to take meds. They were supposed to help but they just made me feel like I couldn't even have real feelings anymore. I mean my cat died and I couldn't even shed a tear! Plus just medicating in my case wasn't getting to the root of the problem. I then went to counceling... but having someone just listening to what I had to say without giving me any real application to change things didn't work either. This site seems different wanting to really help change behavior with exercises. I think it is great. Plus talking to and seeing what everyone else has to say and what they are going through is helpful too.

My sister says he was such a neat grandpa but I was too young to remember him. My grandmother...Because I never appreciated her when I was growing up and only when I got older did I wish I could have spent more time with her and that she would have been more receptive when I was little. My aunt and uncle because I would just love to hear al the stories about the family and my dad. Now I feel like crying.

(separate by commas):
Elliot Yamin. I just heard a song of his from my new friend Teresa's page. And I'd like to hear more! Translucent Things by Fugiya and Miyagi. The new Linkin Park cd. All new music that I haven't heard..I'd bring my ipod along for the old stuff.
If I could do anything for my neighborhood today, it would be:

A sunset I remember:
The setting of the sun after a long day of playing and swimming at the lake with my cousins or friends...and getting a shower to get off all the lake water, sand, sweat, and sun tan lotion. Sitting outside on the swing with wet hair and fresh clean clothes watching the sun set knowing that we were either going into town for ice cream or going inside to play games, eat snacks, and laugh our heads off.
