Less Overwhelmed!

I still have 65 1/2 lbs to lose, but last week I had 80.  No, I don't believe that I lost 14 1/2 lbs so quickly, but whether what I saw on the scale was a mistake or not, I feel as though I've lost that amount.  It feels great because I've been doing so well the last 10 days, that this is exactly the boost that I needed to stay on track.  I'm doing great and nothing is too tempting right now.  It's so easy to say, "No, thank you!"  Here's to keeping it up!

Congratulations

Way to go! Way to go!

I am just starting, so it is good to hear you are doing so well!! Keep up the good work. Oh, and by the way, I noticed you live in Cornwall, i live in Marmora, just north of Belleville.

you are doing great

You're a winner! You're a winner!

For not quitting!!

Our bodies play tricks on us!

Just remember that point in the program where Devlyn says, you CAN'T loss 80 pounds!  You CAN'T!   But you CAN loose 1 pound.  And then you can loose another pound. And before you know it, you lost the 80 pounds.  Law of Accumulation don't forget.  Much easier to think about loosing 1 pound than 80 is it not? :)

Also remember, if your doing ANY kind of exercise, your building muscle and muscle weighs more than fat, so sometimes you might feel it in your clothes or measurements, but you won't see it on the scale. You might even see it go up a pound or two.  I was stuck at one weight for a while even though my shirts were most definitely fitting a lot looser.  I do a lot of walking/hiking and I have noticed a huge increase in my calf muscles.

Our bodies do weird stuff to trick our minds, do they not? LOL

Just get some sort of activity in EVERY day, you'll be fine!
