Today is the day i finally start something worthwhile. I am a recent parapelegic who is struggling with accepting the fact that i will never walk again. The past year has been the hardest year of my life. I decided to move from my small home town and begin a new life in the big city. I got a new job then right when everything was goin well i got in a horrific motorcycle accident, soon after my girlfriend of 6 years and i broke up. Because i feel so lonely and have few friends here i am moving back to my old home town of 8000 peeps. Athough i am a little apprehensive about the move i am looking forward to it.

   I was a young man who had it all goin for himself, a great life, great woman, great attitude on what its like to be really alive. I enjoyed all extreme sports but now can only watch them. In 2 years i went from top to bottom and i am looking forward to clawing my way to the top again, but this time i will not fall!

   I am dedicated to becoming happy again, although i know happiness does not come easy, i will put in the work to achieve it.

As a child i was a product of a badly broken home where my parents faught constantly. They divorced when i was only 4. As a child of a broken home you begin to feel as though you are not worthy, why do all the other kids have 2 parents that they can see everyday and i dont.

   My father did an extremly good job at providing me with a life that many kids wished they had. I started to reace motorcross at 12, i rode anything with a motor, enjoyed anything that gave me an adrenaline buzz. I guess you could say i was hooked at a very young age.I grew up in the motorsports buisness where i started my own Polaris dealer, i soon met a very attractive lady (ex). We talked about how living in this small town was very hard because every1 knew our buisness. So we decided to move to the big city. I gave up everything and started on a new career path of being a chef. I went to culinary school In Vancouver she finished her degree. Shortly after we split. Funny how tight a couple feels when all they have in the world is each other, then as more things pop up that bond begins to fade. 

   August 15 2007 was a day that changed my life forever. I had crashed my motorcycle after fighting with my then girlfriend. The world did another spin.

   I spent the rest of 2007 in rehab, away from everything and everyone i loved. This put a huge strain on my relationship and after 6 mnths we split.

   I tried goin back to school but found that i have been out of it way to long and really didnt feel like investing another 4 years to get a piece of paper.

Today i was offered a job back in my home town that is really hard to pass up. However it means that i will have to leave my Ex and my dog. My dog is like my kid, we have had her since we got together so it feels much like a divorce.

   I plan on returning home in the next month and beginning my new job along with my new life. I plan to build a new house there and eventually settle down where i hope to raise a couple kids. I think i have enough life expeience to become a very successful parent, i love kids and i cant wait to have my own.

  I dont really know what the future brings, and i am not excited at the minute for it. All i can think about at this point in time is my past because that is all i have....but i am looking forward to re-writing this in 3 mnths time. Good luck man go get èm!
