environmentally correct light bulbs

I know I should use those curly cue light bulbs and that they save energy, less to the landfills, yada freakin' yada.  But they are SOOO bright, theycan't be dimmed (at least the ones we have), and it's nearly impossible to put a lampshade on them.  I've also heard that if you drop one, you practially need a hazmat team to clean it up.  Any body have any advice on this?

says: i have bought ones that are not so bright, but i have been told that you are not s'posed to touch them with your bare hands. neither are we s'posed to just throw them out when we're done. mine are still with me, so i haven't done the search to find out the how to's of tossing them.

if i remmber right there are also other collors available on the market of those bulbs but i am not sure about this.

and also the can be dimmed i thought but you need a special dim pack or something you just have to ask a expert on this subject i gues

but also you can use a normal light bulb and save energie on other stuff.

well good luck with your bulbs!:)

have a great day
