Abraham-Hicks on Your Most Valuable Skill

“The most valuable skill that you could ever develop is the skill of directing your thoughts toward what you want--to be adept at quickly evaluating all situations and then quickly coming to the conclusion of what you most want--and then giving your undivided attention to that.” ~ Esther and Jerry Hicks from Money, and the Law of Attraction

Well, if there’s ONE dominant theme throughout ALL the great wisdom teachers, it would be the fact that our thoughts determine our reality/happiness/everything. See Notes on Buddha, Aurelius, Rumi, Seligman, The Gita, Frankl, and, well, pretty much all of them for proof of the power of our thoughts.

How about you? Are you in control of your thoughts? Or, does your mind run from one thing to the next--usually stuff you wouldn’t *choose* to think about so much?

As Esther and Jerry make clear: the ability to direct your thoughts toward what you want is THE most valuable (!) skill you could ever develop. And, to develop ANY skill, you’ve gotta practice. Are you practicing?

What a great address

My thoughts are directing to me to the peace and tranquility of Ubud.  Of amazing beef rendang, of beautiful rice fields, of monkeys at the temple, of water gardens, temples and PEACE.

Thanks for taking my thoughts to a place of beauty.

Have a great day! Angie

:)

big smile, angie!!! :)

to beauty and great days,
