Piles Again...

So... I went nuts yesterday and cleared out almost all my piles. Then I went and cleaned my room - including dusting everything. I have been good about cleaning something almost every day - that is a far cry from what I used to be like - even though the house isn't perfect.

Then I sat down to rest my hip as it was starting to act up badly after all that... within about 10 minutes, the twins were in my room, destroying the work I had just done! Well, I guess they can't put back all the dust. Sigh.

Housework is NOT my forte. I've made much progress since I've learned to love myself. Instead of a dump (literally) to live in, I try very hard to keep my house tidy now. However, I find it incredibly discouraging to have it destroyed within half an hour of having it shining. I want to say, what's the freakin' point but I know if I go down that road, I'll be lost in a garbage dump within a month. I don't want that anymore! I have a beautiful house and I'd like to be able to keep it that way.

I'm comforting myself with the thought that when all the kids are in school, I'll at least have a longer time to enjoy what I've done! I can't give up now!

SIGH!
