The Game Of Life...

Ah life - the great game. I know I've complained a lot in the past of the hands I've been dealt. How much has that complaining changed those cards? Not once. But I know that looking back at those hands, I see how I played them badly, impatiently, unthinkingly. Sometimes they were things I couldn't have changed, even by being patient. However, looking back on them, I see the things I learned by losing. I am a better person for the losing hands for I can empathize with those who are there or have been there themselves.

It doesn't matter what hand I'm dealt each day for each game will teach me what I need to know if I just look for the answers.

I agree! I agree!

Re:The Game Of Life...

I'm totally with you there:) That makes a whole lot of sense. I need to take heed to that. I get so frustrated and complain because of the luck I have and how my life is going. All I can do is learn from the mistakes and keep going. You are so right:)

Chance, Games, Who holds the Cards?

You're not alone You're not alone

Wow, I have been running this scenario in my head about how easy it is to win @ a game when you make all the rules and hold all the cards. Or, from my perspective I was making none of the rules and holding no cards of consequence! Making it hard to win @ the game of LOVE!!

It is high time that I deal myself into a fair game!  OR preferentially into something that is as fun as a game, without being one!

I have to say that I have not lost from this last hand!! Only gained perspective and motivation to keep working on me and not to settle for something that has no reciprication!

Thanks and Nicely put!!Smile
