Thanks For Your Support!

Thank you everyone! I've been recieving your messages via email while I haven't been on here and its encouraged me when I've needed it. THANK YOU!!

An update on my 4 yr old... I've been keeping tabs on him all day - having him play with his toys downstairs where I can see him, getting everyone else paying attention and reminding him not to eat things, etc - and it seems to be helping. I have gotten some vitamins and omega oils that my chiropractor recommended. He loves the oils so I don't have to try and force him to take it. I call it his "medicine" and he feels special and so takes it. We've gotten to eat supper by bribing him with cheezie puffs or jellybeans - one puff or 1/2 bean for every chunk of food he eats. If he eats everything up, he gets a fudgsicle for dessert.  I split his food up into separate chunks for him to eat. He doesn't gag on the meat anymore but potatoes are difficult. He doesn't focus well and takes a lot of encouragement but he's getting there!! He gets to see a psychologist tomorrow morning. Hopefully we'll be hearing from the pediatrician soon, as well.

I finally got a chance to do some of my recording today! I have another 7 minutes to go but I'll get it done! Glad to be back. Summer always seems so difficult to get things done, eh?

Good news....

Glad that things are turning around.  I see more information thru your blog about his condition.  Am also getting a little bit more education.  Has anyone every asked or checked into dysphasia?  (new at this but think I have it spelled right!)  there are certain ways of preparing this so that it willto swollow.    Hope you can find something about it and that it helps...

Keep us informed as you are able!!!!!
