anyone out there not living on credit

just wondering if there are people that do not live beyond their means... cause that is what I believe is the problem with the credit and wall street .

I believe there are fewer and fewer savers out there.  There are many reasons why.  People seem to want instant gratification, and they lack the disipline or incentive to save their money.  The banks don't offer a very good return on savings and tax cuts into any gains they do make.  Most of the time, any money you can save won't be able to keep up with the rate of inflation over time, which makes saving that much less effective.  If you are a savy investor, I'm sure there are some great opportunities out there to make a profit but I don't consider myself to be one.  I feel as though the stock market is rigged.

I watched a very interesting video about how money is created, and the most interesting point made was that money cannot exist without debt.  For every dollar created there are at least another 10 dollars of debt attached to it.  I find it mind boggling.
