Weekend Tools?

I am on day 24 and this is the first time that I have actually checked in on a weekend. With all that life throws, I use the weekends to just recover from the hell of the weekly grind which are regular 12 hour workdays. And include cramming in time to be a good husband and father. The other breakthrough, I wanted to share was finally achieving silence to some of the noise in my head. What I mean by that is the “noise” is some of that unchecked negativity that gets internalized. So there I was at the cube, off to a rough day and mid-day I went to the mirror and checked myself. I realized that I didn’t need to sweat the small stuff so to speak and realized all that was needed was to, “reclaim the day” because after all it was “a great day.” So, from that point on I was happy and pleasant. Definitely, going to prescribe more of that going forward. If life could always be so simple.

Woo hoo!!  Good show RTT!!  It always cool when we can share how these "tools" have applied in certain situations and have been very helpful.

Its one thing to learn about it... its a whole other thing to put it into action!!

Thanks for blogging,
