Walking

What do you think: walking on a dirt path in the forest or a paved path in the city?

Just walk-!!  When you find a special place to walk enjoy it. Variety may be good for you. Walking in the forest calms and refreshes your mind and body. Walking in the city is more stimulating. Ask your inner voice what would be best for your walk today. Walk with a friend if you need to talk with someone.

In the past I definately would've said forest- more reflective time. However, having moved to the city and enjoying all the networking and social aspects in the city, I'm loving that right now- so city for me- though I certainly still appreciate the forest.

ill take the dirt path in the forest.

just because i like to be in a forest with all those nice smells and sounds around you! just love it

says: How safe are you on the dirt path? E.g. are there other walkers? Walking on uneven surfaces trains more parts of your body than does walking a paved path. Your brain works more figuring out the best foot placement for each step on an uneven path. But I wouldn't walk alone in the woods!
