Stress Less

I got in to work yesterday, after being away since last Friday.  Several things popped up that would typically really stress me out.  I had a ton of mail to get through and address.  I just kept telling myself, it will get done.  It will get done.  I will get done.

There were several pressing issues that came up while I was gone that I needed to discuss with my supervisor.  Normally I would have let this ruin my day.  Yesterday, however, it just seemed to roll off my back.  I accepted the things that I could not change.  They were done and there was nothing now that could change what HAD happened.  I proactively wrote a memo and talked with staff involved in the issue so that it is less likely to happen AGAIN, in the future.

Overall, it could have been a highly stressful day, but somehow, it just worked out!

I love breakthroughs like this! Remember this day because it can be used as a tool for the rest of your life. Bad moments are exactly that- bad moments. bad moments do not have to equal bad days! Pretty soon, you won't even see them as bad moments....they will become just, well....moments.

Congrats!
