I am a Canadian, originally from Toronto, now living in Southern California.  I am from a big family, 8 kids in all, and have heaps of nieces and nephews.  I have 4 kids – 2 'in-law' kids that are really just like my own kids :) - all wonderful! and so far 5 grandchildren - best not to get started on them ...   I read lots, do not watch T.V. (sometimes movie videos).  I teach creative writing, do HR work and am in the early stages of publishing.  I enjoy being out-of-doors, hiking and walking - mountains and beaches here provide heaps of places to go.  I routinely take ‘little vacations’- I often take different routes to destinations that take me ¼ to ½ hour out of my way.  I find some beautiful out-of-the-way places in my wanderings.
