Back from Sydney

What a beautiful city Sydney is. Being our first holiday there we made the most of it. Stayed in Wooloomooloo, which is about 20 mins walk from everywhere. Within the 5 days we were there the weather varied from subtropical to sub-Antarctic, so we experienced the full spectrum of what Sydney had to offer.

The iconic Harbour Bridge and Opera House were of course, spectacular. Even managed to attend a concert in the Opera House which, although the music was pretty heavy going and not my cup of tea (Elgar's 'The Dream of Gerontius'), was definitely one of those once-in-a-lifetime experiences. And we did all those touristy things - ferry trips, plenty of walking and checking out the local eateries.

Now it's back to work, somewhat revitalised, to pay it off..!

Thanks for visiting

Thanks for visiting my town and enjoying the journey.  Why is it that tourists do so much more than locals?

Glad you enjoyed your time.

Have a great day! Angie
