Singing

I have not considered myself a singer. At our Rio Abajo Center For Religious Science we have an option to share how we have used Science of Mind.

A while back I took a class called Five Gifts based on tithing. There is an affirmation that we say 100 times a day and it goes like this.

I surrender to power and presence of God within me now. Saying that had become a rote thing to do and was not having the same meaning. So, I set an intention to come up with a melody for the words. A couple of weeks later it came to me.

Now, I just used the song for myself because I had never sung solo in front of people.

This Sunday I felt compelled to share this experience with the people. It was a scary but an exhilirating experience all at the same time. And I am still alive and not hurt. Laughing

Way to go Richard!

Isn't it amazing how powerful we can become when our focus is on others. Your desire to share took you further than your fear.

Good job.

I have done a similiar thing because now when I answer the phone I say "I am having a great day! How can I help you have a great day, too?"

Usually, people just laugh. But, I am surprised by how much more positive conversations are now. It completely jolts people out of complaint mode and into "gratefullness".

Success and prosperity to you.
