A thought!

I have just completed day 27. So very true. It reminded me of a joke I got a few years ago.

A single mother was praying to god to let her win the lottery. She cryed,,I can't pay the bills, I need help,,,pls help me.

The draw came and she didn't win. The following week she cried again. Please let me win, I'm  about to loose my business and home.

Again, she didn't win. After several weeks of this..she cried to god in desperation. God, how could u do this to me and my children? All I needed was a little help and now because you didn't give it, my children and I are living in our car with nothing. Why didn't you let me win the lottery?

To which god replies, "you have to meet me half way, buy a ticket".

We can ask all we like, but unless we put in the effort, nothing will happen.
