Day 10 - Altitude

I was reluctant to blog today because I don't really think I have much to say, but I am committed to blogging everyday about something and I am committed to making some commentary on other people's blogs too.

I think this practice of write something, even if its nothing, is good exercise.  More than that, I think the practice of reading and commenting on other people's stuff is more important because I feel good when I know I've been supportive of other's efforts... even if I don't say Jack, but put one of those oversized WOOO HOOOS!! on their blog.

Maybe thats its... just letting other people know that they're being heard is the bit that is useful. I know I like it when people show some indication that they've heard me, so I like to make sure I do the same.  Funny thing... the song "Praise You" by Fat Boy Slim just came on... heheheh...

Whats that?  Pay it forward you say?!  Here's my dollar.

Thanks for reading,

PS

In my practice of listening to the voices in my head, I must say... the Bad Big Voice (you know that critical one that holds you down?!!?) is telling me that this is 'just an attention seeking blog tricking people into posting something on it just so I'll feel good."  But, the Good Little Voice is getting louder these days and said "Do it!!  This is an honest assessment of what you think and feel and you shouldn't talk yourself out of it!!"   Whatever... its done now and I'm not discarding it.  :)  Stupid Big Voice... you're going down!!

Yeah I agree

I agree! I agree!

don't listen to the bad voice ;)

I hear you and I thank you for hearing me :) I agree that you should blog even if you don't think you have much to say. I think you ended up saying some great things and it got me to look up the lyrics to Praise You :) a song I've never heard. Thanks

I hear you I hear you

praise you

Thank everyone for the props.  :)

Even though I've heard the song Praise You hundreds of times, I'd never looked up the lyrics.  It was interesting to find that he doesn't say more than a few words over and over again throughout the song.  I think its the music with the few words that "feels" good to me.  I had not realized that until you mentioned looking up the lyrics.  Thanks!!

Thanks!

You deserve a star You deserve a star

Thanks!

I enjoyed reading your blog, I am glad for some reason today I found it! You are a very good writer and it is always a pleasure to read what you write as a comment to my blabbing, I mean, blogging. Thank you for taking the time to show your support and for sharing your ideas.

Have a great day and enjoy the journey!
