Day 1

This is my first day to actually do anything here.  I signed up here a month ago after hearing about it on one of Jason Ellis' radio shows on Faction.

Thanks mate.

I have now gone about a week without drinking any beer.  I have also cut out most of my soft drinks.  I have been drinking various teas or water with flavor packs instead.

I did poorly on a Lab Practical in Anatomy and Physiology yesterday because I didn't study for it.  Then, later yesterday evening, I went to a informative meeting about the Program I want to get into at the college.  It left me feeling down.  I have to work full time and the head of the program said that even working part time isn't a good idea for most people in the Physical Therapy Assistant program... even in the first two semesters, with it being virtually impossible during the last two.

I have considered EMT training as an alternative if I wasn't accepted, and it looks like something I should check into more deeply.

I currently work for Walmart.  I will have 10 years in july.  I started with Walmart just after high school to help get thru college.  I didn't finish at UTM, and have resumed at JSCC starting this last fall.

I know I am not happy working at Walmart as a career.  I think I could be happy again working as a means to get by until I can get into a more preferable career.  There are some nice people to work with, but it isn't very rewarding at the end of the day.
