I had trouble waking up this morning and taking a deep breath... gotta love sinus congestion...
I think I has trouble waking up because I wasn't feeling well. I know I couldn't take a deep breath through my nose because it was full of snot. I still said its a great day. I also made it to work on time.
Work, wasn't bad... but I had a little confrontation that I think I handled pretty well. A person work with had told my supervisor that I was talking about going home early today when I didn't even mention. I believe this person has difficulty with honesty. He didn't have a reply after I told him that I had heard what he said. I ended up leaving early anyway, since I was feeling a little sick already and because I was over my time a little already. Also, I am on vacation starting tomorrow.
I feel like I might be getting a cold or something which is going to put a damper on my vacation. I have classes to go to on Tue and Thur, so this weekend would have been used if I was actually going to try to go out of town. I don't want to feel crumby and go on a long drive somewhere and not be able to really enjoy the place... so I don't plan on going anywhere far away. I don't want to get my family sick, so I am going to wait about going to see them until I figure out if I am just suffering from allergies or if it is a virus or whatever...
At least I don't have to worry about calling in sick to work, and I am getting paid for my time off. It is good in a way that I had this timing.
I still haven't had any alcohol. Being sick makes it easy to continue my break from drinking. Sometimes I think it is more a physical habit than a chemical addiction. Now i have to avoid eating too much, but I am still drinking lots of water and tea.
I wonder. Does it matter when I get up when i am on vacation? Because, I am turning off my alarms for the weekend. If I don't end up really sick, I will probably not sleep later than 8 or 9 am.
Thanks for reading. I plan on blogging and doing my other Tools activities while I am on vacation.

Sleep and rejuvinate
Its important to keep a routine sleep cycle... it keeps your body in a regular rhythm and doesn't have to keep readjusting along the way.
However, since you are ill, take this time to rest and regroup. You've got the water going... add some OJ and take some time to let your body recover from the funk!
Congrats on the alcohol avoidance!! and for documenting your success by blogging...
Take care,
