Bach Flower Essences

Does anyone use or have experience with Bach Flower Essences?? I have been using the rescue remedy at work when the pressure is on and I feel overwhelmed. I just started using it when I can't seem to get out of a 'funk' and thoughts keep repeating in my head - to my amazement it has calmed me right down and allowed me to change thought patterns. It took me a few times to make the connection. Since Tools is all about mental training I wondered if the Bach products wouldn't help a lot of us with mental healing. I ordered a custom formula, and hopefully will have it in a few days. Would like to hear from others who have used it - Thanks.

says: UPDATE:  Just wanted to report back on The Bach Flower Essences. I  have been taking a personalized formula for about 10 days now, and yes the first thing I noticed was the vivid dreams. But for me that was a good thing, the dreams were 'normal' (my dreams are usually violent) and I have been enjoying them for the most part. I am sleeping through the night better also. In general I seem calmer, my thinking is more controlable, as I am able to stop having one thought circle around in my mind and totally dwell on it (in a bad way). And I am less obcessive about what others aren't doing for me, and have gone out and done for myself. For two days in a row I have been creative, drawing patterns and them making the finished product (out of wood). I have felt an inner happines and pride in myself I haven't felt in a long time - I usually have tons of great ideas, but never follow through. The reward inside yourself comes with the follow through!!!! I do believe things have changed much quicker this week than over past months, I hope it continues to do so.

says: I have used the Bach Flowers.  I bought a book called:  Practical Uses and Applications of the Bach Flower Emotional Remedies by Jessica Bear, N.D.  I think I bought all the essenses in the set.  I used them for myself for a while then stopped.  The Rescue was my favorite.  It took about 3 weeks to see the changes for me.  I found them to be a harsher modality than some of the others I have tried.  One thing I noticed was the vivid dreams they produced.  After a while I needed a good nights sleep and quit taking them for a rest period.  I gave my friend one or two to try and after two nights of the dreams, she quit taking it.   The reactive ones do indeed "react."  Here is a case where a little knowledge can be a dangerous thing.  I would recommend doing some research on them or getting a good book to explain how they work or you could be in for a surprise.  I took the mustard for depression.  It produced very severe depression symptoms..  They are supposed to bring up the emotions we are trying to heal so that we can release them.  As I have said, I have found other modalities to be less stressful.  I prefer Reiki or what Dr. Eric Pearl developed called "The Reconnection."

says: January 10,My son-in law is a great believer in Bach FE..There are books on it. My only experience is with Lavender essential oil. I used to let my dog Spike smell it when a thunder storm was in progress..He would start shaking as soon as the skies would rumble, but the lavendar calmed him down. Smell is very powerful. Freya
