Feeling the Fear

Aaaah yes...fears.

I had those under the bed fears and terror of asking girls out.

When I started out painting, I couldnt go up a small ladder. I kept getting down every few minutes. I ended up using 40's and 50 footers no problem!

I had fear of budgetting and fear of success, being up somewhere to fall from!

I dont think of myself as a fearful person, but if I sit and really contemplate, I see the way fear worked in my life.

Im definitely afraid of my delinquent tax situation! I have 7 years of taxes to work out and pay.

Yikes.

The IRS hit my bank account , took all my money but a dollar, and froze my account

and ATM card with a levy.

So much fun!

I haven't even called them yet!

Talk about emotional avoidance and fear!

Im tellin ya!

My Mother always said....."It's your bed, you made it, now you have to lay in it !

She was right !

I think of the book title, "Feel The Fear, and Do It Anyway!"

I guess I should start thinking about how fear holds me back!

Thanks for this lesson, Coach!

Feel The Fear, and Do It Anyway!

This is right on.  You'll be surprised, once you step off that apparent cliff, how quickly your fears will vanish like the morning mists.  All you have to do is take that first step.

I agree! Courage!  You can do it!

Hang in there....

Sorry to hear you are having troubles with the tax-man. But, here's another saying for you ..."this too shall pass". Have a great day!

Stone Sense

I had a stone sense in my shop that said, "On the other side of fear you will find courage."  (and on the other side of courage you will find freedom)

So accept the responsibility and you can go fix the problem head on.  Good Going!

feeling fear

I agree.  Fix the problems.  My thought?  If it's not life and death then what's the worst that can happen? If they've already taken the $$.that's most likely the worst. Right? ..Remember they can't kill you.  (wish I had money in my account for them to take.)

I try to tell myself this when I feel fear.  Sometimes it works. lol

You are strong and confident and I know you can handle this as just another bump in the road.

Enjoy your day.

Sending you a hug Sending you a hug

feel the fear and do it anyway

YES!  Just saw an interview on youtube with Judy Dench(my idol)  who said the exact same thing.  Perhaps a message to me having it come to me twice in one day!

And communication and kissing - mmmmm.  No wonder you are smilinsteve! Sounds great!  Glad things are working out.
