Well, hello!  I'm just about 63 years young and know that I can still make important changes in my life.  And that's what brings me here to"Tools"... to learn new thngs and new ways of doing things. To improve the old me.

I joined TOOLS because:
I've tried other methods to improve my self-esteem and confidence level, to help me focus, set goals and be successful. I've spent a lot of money on some of the methods and made some progress. But I've been my own worst enemy. It's called self-sabotage. And I'm good at it. But even though time is winding down for me, I'm determined to change. And what better offer than someone who wants to show you the way free of charge? How could I pass it up? The email to join came from a respected and successful internet business friend as well. So I'm here to change my life to one of happiness, success and financial independence.
You are offered your dream job. What job is it?:
I was just offered a job with National Geographic Magazine traveling the world photographing wildlife in their natural habitat.
My favorite wild animal is:
The elephant. It has power, majesty and a uniqueness with it's baggy skin, large ears, fascinating trunk and glorious tusks. But for all its might and fiercesomeness, it is intelligent, family oriented, forming strong, unbreakable emotional bonds of attachment... a gentle giant among its kind, protective, loving, tender and nurturing within its extended family unit and with the tiny ones. It is akin to we humans in so many ways.
Why (describe as much as possible):
Oops! I do believe I runneth on too much with the words above. But truly the elephant is a fascinating creation. I heard a story recently of two females separated for 23 years, I believe it was. The older had raised the younger though not it's own. They both wound up in the same preserve and remembered the bond they'd shared, trumpeting loudly from opposite ends of the barn to each other until reunited, as they remain today. What a testament to an elephants character. I love them.
My favorite domestic animal is (if you choose dog be specific with breed etc):
I have to say dog because I've owned one or more for most of my life. They've been my companions and friends. I've owned quite a few different breeds as well as mixed breeds and each has their own uniqueness, their own personality. But I would choose the Shi Tzu as my alltime favorite.
Why:
I own a Shi Tzu presently.... Zoey, a black and white 14 pound furry ball of energy, curiosity and intelligence. Her mom is exactly the same. Now I've had smart dogs, but these two take the prize. I do believe they are one of the most intelligent breeds ever, fun to be with, loyal, attentive, protective and loving children, which most small breeds do not. They love attention... from all sources... even my cats. But she is the nosiest dog I've ever owned. She has to know what's going on everywhere. Any small noise will draw her attention. And if the neighborhood dogs aren't barking at her, she's looking around wondering where they are. She is a delight to be around not to mention that she's got a lock on cuteness!
A famous Chef will prepare anything you want. What do you order:
New England clam chowder served with hot scones with honey. For appetizers, cherrystone clams on the half shell and snow crab claws with garlic butter dipping sauce. Caesar salad and hot garlic bread. For the entree, shrimp scampi with fresh garlic over angel hair pasta, a side of fresh mixed steamed veggies and garlic bread. And for desert New York cherry cheesecake.
Why:
These are my most favorite foods and seafood is my all-time favorite.
Five people either dead or alive you would have at your fantasy dinner party::
Helen Keller, Mother Theresa, Ghandi, Nelson Mandella, Einstein
Why:
I would like to know the motivation of each for their great accomplishments and how they stayed motivated. I would also like to know what their vision for future human progress was they are shocked at the world, its people and attitudes of today.
If a pilot would fly you anywhere you want, you would go to:
First to Paris to the Louvre and the west bank, then on to Germany to see the historic castles. Next stop, Madrid, Spain and the Prado museum, then on to Japan for a tour of restaurants in Tokyo. A stop off in Hawaii and a tour of the islands to see the glorious flora and fauna and cranky volcanos. I'd return by way of Mexico to visit the Aztec ruins with a stop off in Acapuilco to enjoy the sand and sun for a week or two and then off to San Francisco to see the sites and sample the restaurants (seafood you know), a stop off at the grand canyon and home by way of Atlanta, Georgia to see a city close to my heart.
My perfect slice of pizza is:
large and heavy with sauce and cheese, loaded with peppers, onions, mushrooms, pepperoni, sausage, ground beef and too big and heavy to eat with my hands. I need a plate and a fork. Some places call it a garbage pie. I call it Ummmm... Ummmm... good!
You are at a bar. You order this drink:
 A magrgarita... ole!
You are at a coffee shop. What coffee or tea do you order:
 Green tea with honey.
If a genie could grant you three wishes they would be (separate by commas):
 Wisdom, discernment, a pure heart
You are going on a long road trip and you can only bring three CD's. Which ones do you bring (separate by commas):
Greig's Peer Gynt Suite, Yanni's Enchantment, Roger Whitaker Sings Irish Songs
If I could do anything for my neighborhood today, it would be:
Get to know my neighbors better.
A sunset I remember:
Riding home from work along the highway on an evening about 6 years ago. The colors on the clouds were breathtaking, ever-changing, inspiring.
Any character I could be from a movie, TV show or book would be:
Tom Booker of "The Horse Whisperer."
Why:
Horses have always been a deep love of mine since early childhood. How wonderful to be able to have a rapport like that with one of the most magnificent of the animal creations, to be able to help them in a unique way. They've done so much and sacrificed so much for mankind.
