Clean Floors

Today I cleaned and waxed my floors. Now this may sound like a simple task, but for me it was a challenge. I live in an old house(built in 1898) that has a ton of different flooring. We have wall to wall carpet in the 3 largest rooms so they are easy to vac and shampoo as needed. We have every other kind of flooring in the rest of the house. So I stripped and re-waxed most of them. It was like spring cleaning but in the winter. Now that I'm done I feel great. The challenge was just getting started. So in order to start I took all my tools (bucket, rags, wax remover,mp3 player) and put them out the night before so I would have to "see" them waiting to be used. It worked. It was like they were waiting for me.

It's good to set things up for success.

So true

I have found that getting started is almost always the toughest part of anything that I have been putting off or don't want to do. Thanks to tools it is getting a easier.

nice work!

I know how overwhelming getting started anything can be! I love cleaning, so I'm very impressed with the grandiose nature of your project!

Props to you!
