Heroes

 

My heroes weren't on the list.

 

My heroes are people who battle something every day without succumbing to dispair.

 

People who fight:

  • poverty
  • pain
  • disease
  • physical limitations
  • addiction

And the big thing for me is that they battle so well that you don't even realize they are fighting.

 

Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.

You are absolutely right

We pass by heroes everyday and don't even give them a second glance. We don't appreciate just how much they fight and how significant they are. Heroes are all around us. We simply need to take the time to seek them out.
