Books:
I just read "Shantarum", an incredible book about a man who escapes from an Australian prison and goes to India, where he lives in the slums of Bombay, founds a medical clinic, works with the Indian mafia, does gun-running to Afganistan....and somehow now can tell these stories in a very touching humerous and spiritual way. Simply amazing.
On the lighter side I simply LOVED "Water for Elephants" wonderful story and wonderful characters, including many of the animals.
Favorite Places:
"San Francisco, open your Golden Gate...." I love that I am so blessed to be living in the San Francisco Bay Area.
My home away from home, also much loved, is the City of Berkeley Camp Tuolumne, in the Sierra Mountains near Yosemite.
I'm originally from Michigan, and sometimes miss the Great Lakes somethin' awful.

LIFE IS FUNNY... TRUE
Hi there Tamalpais,
You are very right. I've read some articles, too, years ago. Clutter and mess do a lot of interferring with our lives. Feng Sui experts have a lot of things to say on this matter. (Don't you worry, I am one of them, too.). I just went over one of my "stock place hideaway"and found lots and lots of shopping bags with individual contents which had been there for ages! To name a few: scarves, socks, gloves, pants, few items which I purchased "on special". I was really surprised. It was like finding old treasures from someone's glory box. Aside from the Feng Sui theory that clutter is a hindrance to good wealth, good health and other associated grace and blessings, I think that book you read about the relationship between mess and psychic abilities is factual and true. Oh, and about the water intake. That is an interesting theory, as well. I think we all should adhere to the water therapy rigidly.... and read each other's mind. That's gonna be real fun. Thanks for sparing those information. I haven't come across the topic in my Toolbox yet but will go ahead with my own decluttering even before it is due. Finally, I'll join you in getting busy.
Take care,
Autumn Mist
