You Are The One by Elliott Yamin

Last year when I watched American Idol, I was so impressed with Elliott Yamin because of his love for his mother. Being a mother of six, I could not help noticing how much gratitude he showed towards her throughout the season.

He just released a CD and it has such beautiful music and considering that he was always to shy to ever sing in public, it is inspiring to see how he turned 180 degrees in confidence when he was seen as having a good voice.

I think anything good in our lives build confidence, even if it's not much in the eyes of others. When we accomplish those daily victories, it gives us greater confidence to do more if needed.

Elliott is an inspiration to me even if he's half my age. His diabetes and being hard of hearing in one ear has only been a boost of confidence to so many others even though they may not have his trials to overcome.
