Morning Thoughts

I appreciate the reminder this tools for life has given me to put my priorities straight.

After my bathroom ritual...I proceed to my place in the living room to do my morning bible study and prayer time... I had gotten out of the habit recently.

After a while this morning....I heard our 115 pound Golden Retriever begin his morning ritual. He starts breathing and panting real loud and goes to the side of the bed my husband sleeps on. Then he starts pawing the side of the bed until he arouses his Master. Then my husband pats him on the head, talks sweet words to him until he is satisfied and content. Then he turns and heads off into his day!

As I watched and listened this morning...it is as tho I heard the Lord say to me...

"You know, if you would come to my side every morning...you would hear from me. I would lead, guide and direct your life. Come unto me and I will give you rest. All things are made perfect in My presence!"

That my friend was the sound of My Inter Voice!

A GOOD DAY START, INDEED!

Hi there Teri,

Enjoyed every piece of your blog... especially your dog's ritual.  (He must also have his own magic mantra).  My 6-year old does almost the same thing.  Does her usual rolling and grawling, then comes to bed and greet us (even before I do my clap, splash, brush, smile).  When I do my usual ritual, I look at her in the eyes and repeatedly chants "I'm having a great day" over and over again.  And it does really make my day!  Truly, no matter how silly or funny this sounds, it does work!

Enjoy your exercises, see you in your next blog and have a great day!

Cheers,

Autumn MistKiss

Way to go! Way to go!
