Open Book Management

I want you to think about a sporting team. In a team there are players and coaches. The coaches train the players. The coaches teach the players all the statgey required to win the game.

There is a scoreboard for the spectators, players and coaches to measure their perfomance. In the end you win or lose.

Why is it in business then that business owners don't tell their staff what their plans and strategeys are for their business.

The employees never even see the figures(scoreboard) so they don't know if the business is winning or losing.

It makes sense to me to train all employees as business owners, let them share in a percentage of profits and tell them the best known way of doing there job (system).

Can you image have a business where all the employees think like owners, they all know the best  way to do their job and they all recieve a share of the profit.

This my frinds is an absolutely brilliant way to run a business.
