I am Ngapuhi, which is the northern most indigenous people of Aotearoa - New Zealand.  I was brought up rurally on traditionally owned land.  We were encouraged to be independent from an early age.  I am very skilled in living frugally and in tune with the environment.

I am self taught traditional Ngapuhi weaver.
