Chao Amigos and Amigas,
Been away for 2 days, Friday was wrapping up a lot of loose ends and all day Saturday was and incredible series of events.
Did you ever have one of those weekend that felt like a vacation? Thats how I would describe these last few days. Working hard, playing hard, growing, seeing new things, enjoying time with neighbors, and having a plane old great time in the process.
Yesterday morning I weighed in 4.4lbs lighter since the following Saturday. That's a pretty big weekly drop which is not typical. None the less, over the last 27 weeks, I've lost over 40lbs which works out to about 1.5lbs a week. This was my game plan because I've lost weight quickly in the past, but I'd made to o drastic of a change and couldn't wait to hit a goal to return back to old habits. Coach talked about this and he it totally right.
Afterwards, wife and I went shopping.
We were walking around the town square and noticed a new restaurant called Genesis. Well, we had to try that. They had wonderful soups, salads, wraps, smoothies, juice drinks and the dining area was delightfully cozy. The staff were very friendly and attentive and made us feel totally welcome.
I have this new found appreciation and admiration for cooks and the wait staff, they can be so amazing. Next time you experience a great job, sow a bountiful tip, smile, and make sure the owner knows.
Afterwards, we walked across the street to a this neat little Shabby and Chic store where the owner is this real cool lady who is very talented and organizes fund raising events for recovery homes.
My wife painted a parasol for a donation that went into a good fund. Therefore, I grabbed my latest book (just like Coach told us to keep onhand) and found a great comfortable chair in the back of the store and totally enjoyed myself.
Normally something like waiting around while my wife shops would totally annoy me. The shop owner inspired my wife to get back to her creative self, and my wife painted a very cool design. At the end of it (3-1/2 hrs later) we all completely enjoyed ourselves and made a new friend.
My wife felt renewed, and later thanked me for it. I sowed positive words of affirmation into her every chance I had.
Guys, are you taking notes? (I sure did)
Later, we went out and had dinner with our next door neighbors, we shared some great fellowship, built stronger relationships, and had some great laughs sharing our lives.
Well, there is a lot more, but for the sake of time, I will end it here.
Battles are won before they start (a method known as preparation), so now I have tomorrow all set up for victory. Breakfast and lunch made, alarm clocks set, cloths ironed, my to do lists set, TTL Toolbox completed for the day, and all is peaceful.
Winding down tonight, a tired happy feeling over my body, and a small joyful smile that can't be removed...
Wishing you all the happiness in the world..
Be blessed!

Every weekend
...... should be like a vacation. It's maybe not that simple, especially if you run a small business. but Tools tends to be about "can do" rather than "can't do".
Change your life in such a way, that you live it on your own terms.
I think I'll try to weave that into future plans
