Designing A Life: My Vision

Each day is an adventure of new things to see, discover, with opportunities to better the world.

This morning, Beverly and I wake up in our brand new Monaco 45foot motor coach.  The coffee pot has a timer and has some fresh gourmet coffee awaiting.

Now, this is not your average camper, but a totally awesome self contained rig complete with tub, shower, air mattress, full body slider, LCD TV's, Satellite connection (including broadband internet), whisper quite generator, tons of storage, an office area, air cushion ride, pulling a hybrid Mercedes M-Class SUV.  Yes,  all-in-all it has plenty of 'BLING"!

In fact, its so complete we even take Kai and Sage our dogs with us.   We love getting up in the morning, and taking them out for a 2 hour hike.

Because we have high speed internet connection, I can actually check back with my online content portal and see how things are going, and make adjustments if need be.  The business and its systems are so fine tuned, I need only work a few hours each day.

On most days, we unload the mountain bikes and take a nice afternoon scenic ride along the rim and grab plenty of shots with the digital camera.

Anyhow, all this week we've been camping (if you could call it that) on the rim of the Grand Canyon.

Today we get up early to take a 5 hour guided burro tour down to the bottom of the canyon.  We unhook the Mercedes and off we go.

Beverly naturally likes animals and tells me all about the burros (the funny and not so funny stuff pertaining to their nature)  The tour was long, but we are having such a blast its over in no time.  We make a sizeable contribution to support the educational awareness of the wonder of the Grand Canyon.  Its truly one of the seven wonders of the world.

Back to the starting point, we jump into the SUV and head off to the local town to hit a sushi restaurant.

I get my usual California rolls with a side of salmon sashimi, and this time Beverly orders something from the hibachi.  Of course we are carrying on, and get everyone laughing and the chef is just having a ball.

Before we depart, we sow a $1,000 tip for the restaurant crew as they did such a great job. They put an extra special effort into making us feel welcome and like family.

As we are walking out into the parking lot, the entire crew is calling out to us, waving and smiling.

Now its back to the campsite at the RV park.  The open road and wide open spaces are very soothing to the soul.

We settle down, and watch the ever so beautiful sunset (like the kind they only have in the great plains out west)

As the nighttime falls, we notice the wildlife change into the night crew. Crickets, coyotes, owls make their presents known.

Before we know it, we are gazing up into the sky, completely amazed of Gods creation of the entire universe in full view.

I mean, this is far beyond any words to describe.  Every time we look at it, we are amazed anew.  We get out the bible and study scriptures for a while by campfire with a flashlight.  The logs are crackling and popping, the smell of wood fire in the fresh crisp night is captivating.

Afterwards, we pull out the huge double reflector telescope and focus in on some of the millions of star clusters.

Every night we invite people over from near by campsites for some fellowship and to look into the telescope.  Most of the time we meet very interesting people, we share our story and they share theirs.  They look at us in amazement of how much joy and peace we have.  They notice we are not your average campers and it usually gives us a chance to sow into their lives in some positive way.

Now the fire starts to burn down, our visitors have left, and its just us.  We are smiling and gently get ready for bed, a quick shower, some hot 'sleepy-time' tea, and we bed down for a wonderful nights slumber.

We dream wonderful dreams.

We are SOOOOO cotton-picking blessed its beyond anything we could think or imagine.

Cant wait to get up and do it again tomorrow!!!
