Time For Family

Today is a day spent enjoying the family. After church we prepare a large breakfast and spend time talking about events that occurred this year and of Christmas memories.

Last night we spent time with 40 members of my family, today we spend the afternoon with 30 members of my wife's family. We share some laughs and eat too much and end the day happy that we have family and happy that we are healthy and have the means to celebrate.

I lost my father to a lung disorder in October and miss him dearly. I truly believe he is in a better place although I wish I would have hugged him when I saw him a few hours before he died.
