Hey Tsubo, thank you so much for the terrific words of encouragement and support. I had a wonderful day today to just hit the trails of the mountains on a long hike with my friends, look back from a mountaintop and see the jewel of a city, San Francisco, (also called "home" to me) in the far distance and just let it all go with each breath. Yes, I deserved the day off. Thank you! You're the best!
Hello Tsubo! I am glad you wrote - I have been on day 83 for months and needed a boost to get me going again. Yes, I also got stuck on script writing but achieveing my goals in Tools actually slowed me down too! I set a Tools fitness goal of climbing in the Adirondacks, and increasing the distances I run as well as I set other goals of getting back to what I like at work and just generally doing more things and getting out of the house. So Tools worked so well I ran out of time to do Tools! Now the days are getting longer its time to spend soem time at home and get to Day 84. And I have been doing more art - my art has been going really well - I'll have to post some images. thanks!
It's called 'Two hours of visual art a week' - I can't find it either when I go the 'challenges' page but other people have signed up so I am not sure where it's listed but it must be listed somewhere. Hope you can sign up!
how about an hour or two a week of art? Four hrs may not have been realistic. Also: what's art? just drawing, painting, sculpture, etc - the studio stuff - or include photography? weaving? crafts? or can it be something else? here is a link to 'get those creative juices flowing' http://www.morning-earth.org/ARTISTNATURALISTS/AN_Goldsworthy.html
My original story is so last year! Four months into Tools, yes I am taking my time and enjoying every challenge, noticing all my ups and downs and having more happy days than yuck ones.
I am loving living in Switzerland, feeling blessed with great friends and a loving relationship. Feeling really lucky that I have the time to give to tools and am sharing the site as much as I can with friends and acquaintances.
I am evolving...studying new skills and taking my life in my own hands ( for a change!)
One day I will travel more, be giving younger women tips on how they too could look this good!! lol Giving my time and energy to Hands of Peace... visiting people in trauma and using massage to help bring a sense of peace.
Very much as it is now... but wiser and with more humour
