I read Stranger in a Strange land by Robert Heinlein 10 times, also like works by the Killer B's, Bear, Brin and Benford, Spider Robinson, The Lathe of Heaven by Ursula K. LeGuin, The Tao of Physics, Issac Bonewits, Issac Azimov, Clive Barker, Phillipe Jose Farmer, Buckminster Fuller, Anne Rice, many others. I prefer Scifi, horror, or physics/philosophy.

Favorite Places:

Warm places/climates, unusual/large architecture, mountains, lakes, forests, cities. Good restauraunts.

I Want To See:

A paradigm shift in the way people live and what they expect in others. people need to understand that making the world a better place for other people makes it a better place for you. Earthships and similar structures mandated for all new construction, and renewable energy sources developed on a massive scale. Also, R. A. Lafferty's Fourth Mansions made into a major motion picture. I'd really like for someone to conclusively find out if there is a God or some other supernatural or natural entity responsible for us being here self aware and with our level of developed intelligence. I'd like to know why we are here. If there is a reason, I'd like to see us find out what it is, and actually work towards that.

Hobbies:

I like to build, design, and play guitars, also play harmonica, hand percussion, sing. I like to keep up on new materials and new energy development, read Scifi, do lapidary work, esp. Gem Intarsia, I do a lot of photography and love to play with photoshop.

Activities:

I like to watch movies, which I feel are the great art form of the age, if done well. Sometimes I like to exercise, and go to the YMCA for weight training and swimming. I like to Read Scifi, build things, play music. I play Diablo 2.

Sports:

I'm not a sports fan. I don't like being a spectator. I did like tennis and handball, but my knees are not so good anymore, so mainly now I can play pool.

Currently I mainly like Heroes, and Dr. Who, Nova, the antiques roadshow.

I'd like to help build and promote a change to energy efficient housing and building designI'd like to develop the design skills and a network of contacts to help create solar and other methods of heating, cooling, and supplying energy for all sorts of buildings.

I'd like to be part of a team that could engineer and develop a vehicle with multiple energy supply options, such as a hybrid that would use a turbine fuel engine to power the generator, and photovoltaic panels to recharge batteries and make hydrogen.
