I am a mother and a significant other who is lucky enough to be starting over with a very nice man after a not so nice first marriage. I think of my self as lucky in many ways even while I know some of my experiences have been troublesome. Some people see me as being very strong and very good at what I do. I don't seem to have this same view in my self as I have a low self esteem.

 

My job has always consisted of working for someone else. I moved to California to be with my new boy friend and thinking that it would be more diverse with more opportunities. But with the job market being what it is, there doesn't seem to be a market for my skills. The only degree I have is from the school of life, and I have had trouble getting noticed.

 

I finally decided that I needed to be my own boss, and started a Mary Kay business. I love the ideals that drive the buisness; I love the products; I love the idea of setting my own bar for the type of service and attention I give. But I seem to be stuck. I have turn figuratively mute when it comes to getting customers and talking to strangers. Come to me with a problem and I'm excellect at finding a solution. But I have been hanging around waiting for people to notice because I can't seem to ask in any effective way.

 

I am seeking many changes in my life and have been actively making changes. I think it's very interesting to have come upon this tools at this time.

I joined TOOLS because:
 Because as I watched the video I thought them message fit well with the understanding in information I've been integrating into my life. I thought it provided a good solid place to bring these ideas together.
You are offered your dream job. What job is it?:
 One that uses technology, mind, body and spirit along with all the things I'v learn in my life. Consulting clients answering questions and meeting needs as explained by them.
My favorite wild animal is:
 A hawk
Why (describe as much as possible):
 There is something so intelligent and thoughtful in their look, far sighted, discerning, swift, graceful on the wind, protective, familial.
My favorite domestic animal is (if you choose dog be specific with breed etc):
 A cat
A famous Chef will prepare anything you want. What do you order:
 Something ethnic with lots of fresh vegetables, tender meats with a smooth and gentle flavor, servings of hot and cold with some sweet flavors, and spices the penetrate the sinuses, oh and some kind of sweet breads.
Why:
 I lost my mom in 1998 and I have cut my self off from her memory (I realized the other day). I lost Mary Kay after I heard about her work but before I was brave enough to commit to my own business. As to all of them becaue of the intelligence; the scope of intent; the things they've learned and will learn; the things they have given back.
If a pilot would fly you anywhere you want, you would go to:
 An island surround by crystal clear water (I've seen pictures)some mountain us terrain with sandy beaches and temperatures inside the 45-85 degree range, and lush exotic wild life.
My perfect slice of pizza is:
 A combination or Hawian, crust brown but tender, not too thick with a savory sauce and mild cheeses
You are at a bar. You order this drink:
 Margarita with a floater of Grand Marnier, a Long Island ice tea or mai tai, one drink that I can sip and make it last.
You are at a coffee shop. What coffee or tea do you order:
 Large caramel frappuccino with a shot of espresso, or a chai tea

 I've seen people get in trouble with this, some think you have to ask just "so". 1. Everything I need just when I need it. 2. Everything I desire when it's in my best interest. 3. Everything that I ask for and the things I forgot to say.
You are going on a long road trip and you can only bring three CD's. Which ones do you bring (separate by commas):

If I could do anything for my neighborhood today, it would be:
 Talk to 10 nice people who wanted to sample my products, or have a facial party.
A sunset I remember:
 I remember a harvest moon one night, I just came out in time to see it setting. It was a HUGE moon and it looked like it was sitting right in the road. The column of light from it seemed to light either side of the road like a run way.
Any character I could be from a movie, TV show or book would be:
 Definately a kind of Super (Bewitched) Samantha Stephens or a Grown up Sabrina.
Why:
 Someone smart, savvy, witty, nurturing, honorable, balanced, loving and only limited by the boundaries she chooses to set. She has her home, her family and friends and she can have anything she wants, which often includes wanting to help people sort things out.
