Monday's success meeting

I've set my first goal for physical health and Monday was a rousing "What's love got to do with it." I've been working on the Mary Kay training for setting goals, but I've been dying to use the TTL goal tool on my business. Monday night we meet and about half of the people had not returned from Seminar (a yearly awards event). I'm setting goals for Red Jacket (they help with the meeting) so that's what I've been visualizing as part of my goal.

Well I started at the first of the meeting by paying my dues a week early. Then I helped by collecting money for raffle tickets and had to explain things to a new comer and enjoyed being helpful. Then I was standing by one of the directors when she said that we needed someone to say our little pledge. It's just a fun and funny thing we do with new consultants that are pinned. Well I was just footloose enought to say, "Me, me, I'll do it".

Because I'm not the one who usually does it, she was having the new consultant more so that I could see the scroll on the wall. Well I kind of whispered, I have it memorized. And she laughed saying, "Well I'll just sit down then."

So I stood by the stage looking to cheer and excite these new consultants and infront of the rest of the meeting. I actually completed it too with my own flare and excitement.

I felt really good through the meeting and afterward, it was like a precursor for what it will be like; now that I'm getting out of my own way and all that. It just felt really nice to have a little spotlight and have it work out.
