I joined TOOLS because:
 I thought it may help me to maintain a positive outlook.
You are offered your dream job. What job is it?:
 Writing and teaching--what I do right now. However, I'd like to be more successful at both.
My favorite wild animal is:
 Moose
Why (describe as much as possible):
 For quite a few years, I have dreamed of seeing one in the wild. My daughters and husband often give me moose "objects"--carvings, pictures, candle holders, etc. They are majestic while still maintaining a sense of humor, at least in the way they look.
My favorite domestic animal is (if you choose dog be specific with breed etc):
 It would have to be my two dogs--Ozzie and Asher. Ozzie is an Australian Shepard and Asher is a German Shepard mix breed.
Why:
 They give me unconditional love and companionship. They love me when I'm not so lovable.
A famous Chef will prepare anything you want. What do you order:
 A perfectly proportioned seafood dinner with plenty of grilled veggies, fresh fruit, and cheesecake for dessert.
Why:
 I love vegetables and fruit; the fresher, the better. A fresh, light seafood (almost anything) is hard to beat, and cheesecake is . . . well . . . cheesecake!
Five people either dead or alive you would have at your fantasy dinner party::
 The Dali Lama, my Aunt Louise, my husband and two daughters.
Why:
 I adore my family and can't get enough--and my sons-in-law and grandsons would be there by default. I miss Aunt Louise terribly since she passed; she was so influential in my life. From what I have seen of the Dali Lama, he is a man of great intelligence, great wisdom, and even a sense of humor.
If a pilot would fly you anywhere you want, you would go to:
 My old stomping ground--Quito Ecuador. I've been missing it terribly lately.
My perfect slice of pizza is:
 Onion, mushroom, banana peppers, and extra cheese
You are at a bar. You order this drink:
 A Chilean or Argentine Merlot
You are at a coffee shop. What coffee or tea do you order:
 Depending on my mood, Earl Grey tea or a cappuccino.

 The end of the war in Iraq so that my son-in-law wouldn't have to go again, enough money to help my family and to travel, good health

If I could do anything for my neighborhood today, it would be:
 Put a big hill in it--it's far too flat around here!

 When Bill and I were camping in North Carolina and we watched the sun set behind the lake by our tent.
Any character I could be from a movie, TV show or book would be:
 Professor McGonagall!
Why:
 Because of the wonderful fantasy nature of Harry Potter and because I identify most with her character.
