Currently I am about to end my career in Live Show Production and Touring. I just don't like it anymore for a large number of reasons. However, I have no clue what I want to do now. I'm moving out of Knoxville to be with my girl friend (possibly soon fiance), Kelly, who is currently an Officer in the Air Force and is stationed out in California. Unfortunately I will be limited in my life choices because her career comes first. I just can't sit around the house all day while she's at work, and I want to be able to support my part of the household and my own interests/hobbies.

Honestly I'm a little worried how our living situation is going to be now with the huge falling out we had earlier this year. We are both completely different people now, so I'm not that worried....but I can't help but have these little "what ifs" in the back of my head.

Things are also really hard for us right now because we are 2200 miles apart and with a 3 hour time difference. We've always been by each others side growing up for the past 10 years, or at least a short road trip away from each other. And now after all the crap we just went through, it's so hard because we don't want to do anything with out the other, we want to be in each others lives SO BAD, but we can't right now!!

Since I moved to Orlando for school a few years ago I haven't been able to ride and race like I used to. I got out of shape and never had the time or money. I'm trying really hard to get back into it again, but now that I'm leaving my current job and moving across the country I have to save up all the money I can because I don't know what my job situation is going to be for a while. That and in March we'll be moving again to a new base where we'll be stationed for 4 years. So I might be unemployed for 4 or 5 months and that kinda scares me with the debts I've got .

Here we go...

I was born in Rogers, AR and soon after moved to Pensacola, FL for a few years. Then in 2nd grade we moved over the bridge to Gulf Breeze where I spent most of my growing up. My Dad is a Mechnical Engineer who does HVAC for commercial installations, mostly all the military installations in the area. Mom is a Piano teacher who has a degree of some sort in all classical music, theory, etc. So, I was a band geek starting out with the Oboe and Calrinet in middle school and moved on the the Drumline in high school where I met some of my best friends, still to this day.

Sometime in middle school we (me and family) brought back some of dad's old dirt bikes from his parent's house and we spent the summer rebuilding them and this lead to me competeing in a South East enduro and harescramble circuit for the past 8 years or so. 

My love for all things music and whatnot led to the creation of a band with all my closest friends. It was a rather creative effort that had no ultimate goal other than make awesome music that WE loved. I was the lead drummer out of a drummer and percussionist combo in the band. We made a pretty decent name for ourselves around town, but we lost everything in hurricane Ivan and haven't been able to get back together since then due to us all parting ways and moving on with our lives.

I moved to Orlando to go to college at Full Sail University. Got a degree in Live Show Production and Touring (anything and everything involving audio, lighting and video for live shows; touring or installing).

After that I planned on moving to Knoxville to live with my close friend/girlfriend, Kelly, of sorts whom I met back in 7th grade, but my new career path had other ideas. I moved out to Las Vegas and worked for David Copperfield for a while doing stage hand and assistant electrician (lighting). We went on an East Coast tour and then I got released from the gig; which I was more than happy about, to say the least. Then I moved back to Pensacola and started working for All Pro Sound as a commercial install tech. I ended up being one of their lead Fiber Optic and datacom techs on most of the military installations we were involved in. Around this time I turned 21 and was finally able to work a job I'd been looking forward to for a while- Cruise Ships. So I moved all my stuff to Knoxville with Kelly and immediately flew down to Miami, FL and got on the World's Largest Cruise Ship! The Freedom of the Seas! I was a stage staff for starters and by the end of my 6 months there I was a stage staff for all theaters and a lighting tech for the ice rink. And I hated that. Being locked up on a ship, completely seperated from the world amung a ton of other crappy things led to me leaving that job and going back to Knoxville. I started working for a huge audio company here and moved up to be the touring and rental manager. I am solely responsible for all the audio for all concerts, shows, festivals, etc this side of Nashville. Me and Kelly started having a lot of issues, mainly all my fault. She moved up here for college and was nearing the end of her time here. When she got done with college she left to start her Air Force career as a Space and Missiles Officer...and we didn't talk for a few months. It was a very rough summer for me being without her for the first time in 10 years, and I had no clue how hard it was going to be for me. She moved on and did her own thing and somehow we ended up talking again and we could not be any happier now. It sucks that we had to break the way we did and suffer the things we put each other through, but it all led to how amazing we are now....except that she's 2200 miles away in California.

Like anyone else in the world, I just want to be happy.

It's been a LONG time since I could just sit back, sigh, and honestly say...life is great. Having no worries, no cares, just enjoying everything.

I want to have a job or a career that makes me feel like I'm actually accomplishing something, I want to have a home that I LOVE coming home to.

I'm tired of being stressed all the time and not knowing what I want, or what I want to do.

Me and Kel have a house somewhere (owned, not rented), we have a dog, our dirt bikes in the garage ready to go racing this weekend. She's got the truck she's always wanted, my Jeep is finally built. We'll have dinner on the back porch, watching the sun set and talk about our awesome jobs. Like what new satellite she launched that day, or what new robotic thing I just designed, or want to design. Maybe go inside and watch a movie or play some video games in the entertainment room (computers, projection set up, drum set, etc).

We'd just have that happy, carefree, amazing life.
