A scarlet message

I dreamed last night I saw a Scarlet Tanager. It's a fantastically bright colored bird found here in the mid country to the eastern shores. I've never seen one. There he was, only feet away in some branches. He was stunning and gorgeous. Birds are so cute and cheerful. So individual. So smart. My cardinals and the finch know if pound on the window and say, "Shoo!" I'm not talking to them. I'm talking to starlings,  sparrows or doves. I like Starlings. They make beautiful sounds and chirps. Doves are so gentle. Sparrows tip their head to one side and look at you with warm, bright eyes. So CUTE. But, I shoo away birds who gather into hoards and shove out other birds. BAD behavior!~ I think this Tanager was a fabulous and formerly unknown something good who has come into my life. Birds are said to be messengers.  And then todays Tool is Sleep. I don't know Mr Tanager had to say, but he made me happy.

Isn't he amazing!?

THANKS....wow he's fantastical.

beautiful

I love wild birds, too, and often have near miss accidents as I crane my head to spot a hawk or eagle as it swirls above me on an updraft.  Can't wait to see what comes to my feeder in the country - and I'm already planning a ittle fountain for them to bathe in...
