Toto, we're not IN Kansas anymore

After I evacuated Katrina  the first thing I did was use  donations from friends (BLESS THEM. No help from FEMA) to pile high on the floor and bookshelves and in cabinets all kinds of canned and boxed foods and emergency supplies. It's reasonable and smart to have basic emergency supplies in your home. But not so much I've had to walk around, get past and do without cabinet space because of it. So I saved money, time and labor by using these supplies for meals. Plus it will update my food supply. And my home won't look like Dorothy's Kansas Tornado Cellar.
