A Word Unspoken...

Today is a very somber day for me...I had a close friend/lover whose birthday is today...she died close to 2 years ago,and I still harbor fond memories of her...

I'd like to dedicate a poem to her memory I found in an inspirational booklet...

           NO WORDS

I know if I shared with you my heart

You'd handle it with care.

You'd understand it's hard to say

What I've always felt?

In a world where the word love

Flows freely from lips

But contain no substance,

I pray you know what is said ,

Is meant.

No words truly

Attainable to express what's inside.

Just to know that there will never be a moment

That I will not be near.

I feel you still,Nita, and will continue to...
