I was born in Monteray, CA but grew up in Seattle Wa.  I lived in Washington until I was 13 and then my family moved to Bosie, ID.  This is were I learned and fell in love with flyfishing.  I lived there for 2 years and my dad got transfered again so we moved to Denver, Co.  I finished highshool in denver and went to college for 3 years there.  I really wasn't in to school at that time but went so I could play on there rugby team.  A smart way to spend my parents money, so they have told me.  After 3 years of bad grades and lots of parties i decided I needed a change.  I joined the Navy in November of 05 and served my country an 8404 hospital corpsman.  I was stationed in Newport, RI for the majority of my time in the navy.  I was medically seperated from the navy due to a back injury i suffured which led to a spinal fusion when I was 25 years old.  At that time i was really into fittness and in extremely good shape and since my surgery in 1998 i have gained a fair amount of weight and that is something I am trying to deal with now.  When i got out of the military in 1999 I moved to Lander WY where my parents had moved to just after I joined the Navy.  My borther move to Lander while I was in the Navy and that was a big reason I moved to lander besides the fact that Wyoming is the home of  HUGE trout.  I met my wife stacy soon after I had moved to Lander.  We have been married for seven years and our daughter Josie who is in first grade is six years old.  I bartended for five years at the local hot spot and durring that time I got a 2 year degree in surgical technology.  When I finish school I got a job being a surgical tech at local hospital and did that for 3 years.  I happened to be in the right place at the right time and got the opportunity to change my career path and go into orthropedic sales.  My days are still spent in the operating room but in a different capasity.  I have to make sure there are the proper insturments and implants available for the surgeons I work with when they are doing a total knee or hip replacement and I am also there to answer any question they have conserning our equipment.  It is a really good feeling to know I am being a part of helping somebody return to normal active lifestyle.

What I would like to see for my future is fisrt and formost being the best dad and husband I can be.  For my job I want to be successful and move up the ranks.  I am not the low man on the todum pole but I have a long way to go.  For my health I need to loose some weight and get back into shape.  Before my back surgery i weighed 215lbs.  Now I am 6'3" 240 and out of shape!!
