Food For Thought

This is a story I just read & thought I would share. Some may have heard it before. For you this will be a refresher. For others like myself it is something new to think about................

One  evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes  on inside people. He said, "My son, the battle is between two  "wolves" inside us all.

One  is Evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed,  arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false  pride, superiority, and ego.

The other is Good.  It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness,  benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith."

The grandson thought about it for a minute and  then asked his grandfather: "Which wolf  wins?"

The old Cherokee simply replied, "The one  you feed."

Have a Great Day Smile

A little over a year ago my father died after a short but valiant fight.  Thankfully, I received a tremendous amount of support from my friends and co-workers. When I returned to work, I sent out this story as a measure of thanks to those who helped me through.  How wonderful to 'get it back' on this site.

Thank you!

says: Indeed, the "food" and who you give it to is worth considering!  Thank you for the message.
