Hi, I am Alivia. I live in the NorthWest U.S. and I love it here. I was born in the midwest. I am an artistic, sensitive, & caring person. I teach art, writing, music, sort of a renaissance meets interdisciplinary approach. I have released 2 CD's, the first of my own music, the second of my version of some old hymns. I am currently working on my third release. I enjoy Lois McMaster Bujold's books in the Miles Vorkosigan series. I love gardening, motorcycling, fishing, swimming, tai chi, not necessarily in that order. I am Quaker, and no surprise, am a pacifist.

I joined TOOLS because:
 I am losing weight and exercising, and I know I need more than a "diet quick fix". I need a life change. And I need for my thinking to change so the changes I make are life-long.
You are offered your dream job. What job is it?:
 Travelling, speaking, singing, writing music, creating, doing art...getting paid really well for doing all the things I love doing.
My favorite wild animal is:
 hummingbird, dragonfly
Why (describe as much as possible):
 They are each beautiful in their own way. Hummingbird
My favorite domestic animal is (if you choose dog be specific with breed etc):
 Cat.
Why:
 smart, efficient, unworried, has others serving him/her, can be fierce, fast, deadly, spends a lot of time relaxing
A famous Chef will prepare anything you want. What do you order:
 A Large salad with lots of leafy greens, cucumbers, tomatoes, carrots, and hazelnuts; fresh-caught salmon with a Marion berry sauce; fresh asparagus; mashed garlic potatoes with skins on; strawberry chocolate cake with ganache.
Why:
 To feed both my body nutritionally and my spirit/emotions with pleasant flavors
