Get feedback wherever you can...

I have been working out for about 3 years now on a regular basis.  I am not a gym junkie but I love doing group fitness with the same people each week.  It gives me the chance to interact with different people from all walks of life and challenge myself against someone else vs. the gym just challenging myself....

Today I was working out in a group and I got paired up with a girl that I have never met before who was Miss Fitness.  Every second of session she was moving when all of the others were standing around exhausted.  She was inspiring and a little exhausting as well... It got me thinking though that by always doing the same thing with the same people you never really test yourself. I walked away inspired. She was actually giving me feedback right throughout the session which is a rarity in group fitness.

The other feedback that I received was from a girl at work yesterday.  She noticed that my arms and shoulders are much more defined than they used to be.  I have noticed but when someone else notices and gives you precise feedback you know that you are really on track.

So please don't underestimate the power of your words - they all add up - but please be sensitive.

Quote for the day:-

Fortunately analysis is not the only way to resolve inner conflicts. Life itself still remains a very effective therapist.
Karen Horney

 Have a great day! Angie

Too True

I got feedback yesterday from a friend, she commented that  my attitude has always been positive and now I appear to be really calm and sorted, as if nothing could phase me.

This gave me the opportunity to mention some changes she has made in her life. we both walked away feeling valued!

Good luck on staying on track, I'm sure you are looking fantastic...
