I have just finished TTL for today, this clear sunny Saturday which happens to be my birthday!!  I am off to the ski hill for the morning and then will be presenting to the Kootenay Livestock Association tonight.  I am part of a group trying to bring progressive farming to an area which is not typically considered Canada's bread basket.

A little nervous as I will be speaking in front of over 100 people, but glad to have so much on my plate for what will be my first sober birthday in more years than I care to count.

Ironic as well that today is my shopping day, and I will be buying cards for the people in my life.  I like the idea of giving on my birthday.
