This blog is my first attempt at breaking the chains- FACING MY FEARS.
The brain can become weak from lack of exercise. The results are dysfunction, fear, anxiety, and depression. If I was taking a mult. choice test, the answer would be (d) all of the above. You exercise your brain by making decisions & taking control control of your life. YOU CAN'T BE SUCCESSFUL WITHOUT FACING YOUR FEARS. That's some pretty powerful rhetoric!
HERE'S A SHORT LIST OF MY FEARS:
Making friends (FOR)
Losing weight (FOF/FOU)
Going unfamiliar places (FOU)
Fear of driving- (Don't no why???)
Visiting distant friends/family (Flying-FOU)
Being alone (FUO- stay in unhealthy relationships)
Dating opposite sex(FOR)
Moving to another town/state (FOU)
Expressing my opinions (FOR)
Being creative (FOF)
Going deeper in my faith (FOU)
FOR=fear of failure
FOU=fear of unknown
FOS=fear of succeeding
Fear of succeeding would be if I made a wreath to hang on my wall, and somebody came over and said that they liked it, and could I make them one? It's ok to fail when you're making something for yourself, but it's gotta be PERFECT when it's for somebody else.
Per chapter 13- By using TOOLS, you WILL overcome FEARS. First you have to identify them. Got it. I'm gonna turn on the lightbulb now. Work on strengthening my brain- Life can be anything I want it to be!
