That's great!
Your Good Fellow
one of the reasons I know you are going to succeed is you have cultivated friendships like this one...you mentioned others in another blog. You are good to your friends and they think well of you and help you. There isn't much more important (and helpful) than that, I think.
So here's a friend who not only wants you in on his success, and wants you working with him, and is going to pay you really well (HOLD ON to this guy!!) but he is also thinking about your greater path and your own dreams. Must be because you TOLD him about them. Because you HAVE a path, and dreams. Incredible. Makes me really feel good about life in general. You know? People can be so good to each other. Especially, as you say, when we are ON our path. Doors seem to fling open!
It's Goethe. One of my favorite quotations. "moving confidently in the direction of your dreams.." may be the one you are thinking of. Here's another Goethe I looked up just now thinking of your Day 4:
Do you wish to roam farther and farther?
See! The Good lies so near.
Only learn to seize good fortune.
For good fortune's always here.
YOU COULD JUST BE SITTING ON A GOLDMINE!
Hi Billwear,
Yessireee! Take that as a real oppotunity (in its sense of the word). That half-time could just be the perfect timing for you to harness your craft to a T. That half-stint with him is but enough for you to master your skill to perfection.... and finally doing it in full swing, on your own. Hitch that wagon to a star! Forget about any negative thoughts on this, if any. To add, the leftover half-time could well be useful to do a bit of moonlighting. I come across some people who attend to double jobs (even in triples!). Anyway, at the moment, embrace that half-baked (good-paying) job. Jump and rejoice! It is just the first step to a good beginning. Good luck on your endeavour. Have a great day!
Cheers,
Autumn Mist
He sounds like a wise and wonderful friend
Follow the path and watch for forks in the road that may take you in an entirely new direction. Your life is happening right now and it sounds like success is just waiting for you to catch up!
